Working Hard or....

Hardly working.

Today (Saturday) was committed to helping bring together the LOVE MOVES facet of the Conference. Love Moves is an involved and interactive experience highlighting 1 country which the students can learn about, pray for, support, and this year get to know some of the nationals.  Our country this year is BRAZIL!  There are over 40 Brazilians also helping out and attending the conference this year.  Language has been a barrier but at times it has been a catalyst for laughter and learning.  We even tried to play a bit a pick up football - and sure enough they ran circles around us.
  Things are coming together.

Some painted

Some did electrical
Some did building

Some did moving

some did assembling
many sat

some hung lights

some assembled scaffolding
some played football

We even got to sing with our Brazilian brothers and sisters and have a small taste of worshipping with those still on their way to the conference.

Please pray for the hearts of our team to be otherish instead of selfish.
Please pray that we will cherish the gospel more each day.
Please pray for the Spirit to unite our minds and our wills to His guiding.
Thank the Lord for our safe journeys, our new friendships, and our opportunity to be a part of this grand production.

We thank YOU for your prayers and support.
Until next time.

United we Stand....

Divided we fly.

Our team was split as we traveled over to Kentucky.  Passing over 6 times zones in about 20 hours with 3 layovers.  Already worn we headed over to the Convention Center and they put us to work doing everything from heavy-lifting, painting, electrical, and carpentry. We were all  working on an empty stomach but once the work was done we enjoyed many of our first tastes of Steak 'n Shake. We tried almost every flavor of burger and shake on the menu. Perhaps I can give more detail later (not likely) but here is what pictures I have on me.
