KY.NOLA

The next 18 days please keep our KY.NOLA team in your prayers fervently.  A team of 17 has been preparing and praying for this trip to Kentucky (KY) to attend the bi-annual EFCA Youth Challenge Conference and then traveling to New Orleans (NOLA) to assist in relief work and do a VBS.

Please pray for safe flights as the groups are split and have multiple layovers. That no one will catch any illness and that we may have a travel mercies for each leg of our journey.  Also, as always, there will probably be unforeseen circumstances that will arise, pray that we will be joyfully flexible and wise to do the Lord's will.

I hope to give a more thorough update in the near future once we are there.

I thank you truly for your thoughts and prayers.  Our God is Sovereign and Good!

Summer 2016

It has been years since I've even seen this blog, but I happened across it today, a few days before our bunch flies out for another mission trip.
 I thought that an update might be in order - for those who are interested.

We have a team of 28 individuals and our theme this year is Klash of Kin, a playoff of the popular app game Clash of Clans.  We desire to portray how sin ruins relationships but God restores and renews through His gospel.  And in the morning we will be telling the riveting story of Joseph (a personal favorite.)  Amidst this theme we are all aware that a team with so many people it will be difficult to remain united we ask for your prayers as we seek to follow the Spirit's leading.

This will be the 8th time we have partnered with Maui churches to put together this camp!  Each year has been a blast with new memories and lessons. I can't wait to see what God will do with this time and in these lives!
